“I’ve given you what you need!”

“That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving and tell of Thy wondrous works.” Psalm 26:7

“It’s amazing how we fret over things in the naural when God has already taken care of it in the spiritual and in the natural.  Just the other day, I was overwhelmed with finding a location to host a testimony forum for public access television in my hometown.  I looked at the possibilities of using a family member or my girlfriend’s new home.  I thought about churches and outdoor settings.  Finally, I resolved on leasing the studio that the TV station had recommended. An added expense and costs that I really could’nt afford.  In my spirit, I knew the studio wasn’t the place where it would happen. Later that night, I went to bed with the show’s location still on my mind.  Needless to say, my sleep was restless but eventually I dozed off.  When I awoke, I was renewed and reenergized.  For me, seeking God in the morning is my muse.  There is just somethiing about the morning time that allows all of my questions and concerns of the previous day to be answered and resolved.  I gathered up my devotional material, prepared my morning cup of coffee, and headed for the sunroom.  I sat there and thanked God for a new day.  In my spirit, God smiled and I could hear the laughter in His voice as the still small inner voice within me whispered, “Why do you look for a place, when I’ve already given you what you need?  Did you not build this sunroom to glorify me?”  I looked around the room and smiled.  “Thank you Lord,” I whispered.   For you see, a few years ago, I asked God for a special room where I could write and meditate.  I promised Him that the room would be for His glory.  Oh, how great our God is!!  In my limited vision, I had no idea that one day everything that He promised and spoke to me would be fulfilled.  Now, ten years later the original purpose of the sunroom has to be fulfilled.  What better way can God be glorified for His works through other people’s testimonies that will be broadcasted from a room that was built for His glory!!

“Great is Thy faithfulness, morning to morning new mercies I see, all I have needed Thy hand hath provided, great is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me.”

(I will post a picture of the sunroom with this blog soon.)

    Nichols,

Now that is what I’m talking about. What a feeling of release and “Perfect Peace”, the song now playing on the radio as I type these comments “Perfect Peace” by Marvin Sapp. (Speak Lord) So why should we be bound?, When God has set us free!
He is the keeper of my soul. God will make a way out of no way.
Or we can say “God has made a way”. Continue to follow His leading and reminding us that it is ok to trust Him. He knows what He’s doing.
