I’m Minister Bridget Merriwether. I was born
in Memphis, TN and I’ve lived here all my life.
I’m thirty-five years old and I’m the oldest of
seven children. I’ve been happily married to
Minister Kevin Merriwether for six years and
we have four wonderful children, Darrnesha
Thomas, Deqoria Thomas, Kevin Merriwether
Jr. and Kameron Merriwether.
This book is written confirmation from my Lord Jesus Christ of
His divine purpose for my son, Kevin Lewis Merriwether, Jr.
Before he was born, God ordained His will over my son’s life.
The child I carried for nine months is a living testimony that
God still works miracles. In Jeremiah 1:5, Jesus said, “Before
you were formed in your mother’s womb I chose you.” Just as
God had a purpose for the prophet Jeremiah, God has one for
Kevin, Jr. My testimony of It’s Not A Dream is to inspire you to
follow your dreams and don’t give up. Believe and seeking
God, know that God is the same yesterday, today and forever

I’m employed at the University of Tennessee Medical
Group as a Patient Account Representative. In 2005, I
completed Cosmetology School. It’s my hope and heartfelt
desire to continue writing as God continues to feed me
with His word. My gifts/talents are ministering the word of
God, praying for God’s people everywhere, and laying
hands on the sick. I love to sing, shop and spend quality
time with the Lord.
I attend Miracle Temple Non-Denominational Church of
Memphis, TN on Shelby Drive, pastored by Robert
Flannagon. Our motto at Miracle Temple is “Come Expect
a Miracle.” I attended Riverview Elementary and Jr. High
Schools. In 1988, I graduated from Carver High School. I
have a Bachelor’s degree in LOVE. Jesus has truly taught
me to love my enemies!
